Primary

Sunday, November 10th I did my very first primary program! My first primary calling was given to me this year as primary chorister and as of now, I love it! In the beginning, it stressed the heck out of me because it was sooo much! Now that I'm used it, planning is a little easier and everything has fallen into place much better. I didn't really know the work that actually goes into being in the primary and boy is there a lot. I didn't know what I was missing though! There's just something about it that you can't get anywhere else in other callings. Our kids are so good and even though it's difficult to be 28 weeks pregnant, have a 19 month old that struggles in nursery, have a husband working half the time, and still do the music, I still love it and I love them.

On Sunday, they sang so loud and so wonderfully, I couldn't have asked anymore from them. They all did so well on their talks and I know their parents were so proud. I got emotional during A Child's Prayer and couldn't help but feel the spirit so strong. These kids are so special and I'm so grateful I've gotten to know them. I still struggle with names, but who doesn't with a whole primary of kids? I hope next year will be even better now that I know how the primary flows. I just hope I can stay on top of everything since I'm having another baby in January!

The morning of our program, I hit 28 weeks. My third trimester! So crazy how fast this pregnancy has gone. It's going to continue to fly by right before my eyes with the holidays approaching. Soon we'll be greeting a new member of our family! And we're so excited!

Here's to all the primary workers out there: You're all wonderful! I hope your programs went great. And thanks to our amazing primary and the leaders for making our program so special. Love you all!

Halloween 2013

Halloween this year was so much fun! Earlier in the month we got a little bit of a Halloween bonus by partying in Ogden (see previous post)! We got some fun pictures of all of our boys in their costumes. After Ogden, my talented sister, Alli, created some super cute Halloween cards for all the boys. She got some wonderfully sweet pictures of all our little spooks and here is how Tayen's turned out:
Doesn't he make the cutest monkey? I'm in love with those two bottom teeth!
Look at those cute cousins! Brycen the doctor and all his cute little animal patients. They sure love each other :) Thanks Alli for creating these adorable cards for all of us. Our family members really enjoyed getting these in the mail!

Halloween 2013
The day of Halloween we went to Blackfoot to Grandma and Grandpa Miles' to Trick-Or-Treat. We visited more family, got some yummy candy, and then had lunch at Wingers. It was a great day! That evening we Trick-Or-Treated to more family in Idaho Falls and then off to Grandma and Grandpa O'Connor's! From there, Tayen's cousin Boston, Aunt Britney, and I went Trick-Or-Treating to a couple more houses around the neighborhood.
Mom the skeleton (with her skeleton baby) and little monkey.
Boston and Tayen running up to The Bush's door. These two were so darn cute!
Grandma O'Connor made us all chili and cornbread! YUM

Happy Halloween!!

Tayen: 19 Months
Well I can't believe my little boy is 19 months! In fact in only a couple weeks he'll be 20 months! Here's the recent scoop on Mr. Tayen:

*****
1. He loves sweets. I wish he didn't, but his dad and I are both addicts. NO getting around this one.
2. He is a complete Momma's Boy, 100%.
3. He says "Momma"," Dadda", "Hi", and "Bye Bye" (and probably a few more that I can't really make out).
4. He absolutely loves all the Toy Story movies. He covers his eyes when Buzz falls and breaks his arm and he's terrified of the monkey in Toy Story 3. Other than that he just loves them.
5. Tayen loves ritz crackers, pasta, potatoes, beans, organic fruit pouches, peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches, chicken nuggets, strawberry nutrigrain bars, cereal, and toast.
6. He loves listening to me sing, but...
7. ...He now gags himself for fun AFTER I sing him a song. He loves it while I sing to him and then when I finish, his finger goes immediately to his throat. I don't know why, it just does ha ha.
8. He is doing so much better in Sacrament Meeting and has lasted the whole time the last two times. However, he is struggling in Nursery. In time, I know he'll be much better and he'll want to stay. Right now it's super tough though with my calling as Primary Chorister, especially when Che isn't there. Luckily I get to go in to nursery the last little bit for singing time :)
9. Because of our new addition coming in January, Tayen is now successfully sleeping in a toddler bed! He's doing so great and we're so proud of him. He sleeps through the night 95% of the time right now and hopefully it stays that way. I'm so relieved that we've gotten over that hurdle. I was so paranoid and scared of making this change and he did it with flying colors. Proud mom!
10. He gets a haircut pretty much every month! I can't believe how fast it grows. We like his hair shorter especially because of how much easier it is to do his hair. Plus he looks so handsome!
11. He LOVES bathtime and could probably flood the bathroom if we weren't there!
12. Tayen loves cars, cars, and more cars. If he's a good boy, Santa might bring him a big one!
13. One cute thing Tayen does is he picks out a book, goes and sits on his toddler bed, and he looks at it forever. It's the sweetest thing.
14. He is around 22 pounds now (maybe a little more) and has 7 teeth. He wears size 4 diapers, and (this is random), he sometimes walks on his toes.
15. He is so darn sweet. He gives kisses, hugs, and he has a super contagious smile.

This future big brother is ready to take on the world! He's growing up so fast and we are so proud of him and all of his big milestones over the past 19 months! Love you Tay!

They did the bash...they did the birthday bash!

I love Fall...pretty sure everyone knows that by now ha ha. I look forward to it every year, especially now that I have a little baby to dress up! We've started a tradition on Alli and I's birthday where we get together in Ogden and party Halloween style! This year was so much fun and the kids were cuter than ever in their costumes. We partied, dressed up in costumes, Halloween jammies, matching shirts, decorated a birthday cake, shopped, went to a pumpkin patch, watched movies, and chased each other around the house. It was a wonderfully chaotic weekend...
These boys were too cute. Boston was a puppy, Brycen a Vet, Carter a fox, and Tayen a monkey. We liked to say that Brycen was the animal doctor of all these cute animals ha ha.

 Decorating our birthday cake!

Pumpkin patch fun with matching shirts!

Honestly, we do this weekend for our birthday, but it is really just one big Halloween party ha ha. I completely forget about my birthday and get wrapped up into all the fall and Halloween fun! Wouldn't ask for anything different though! It's a blessing to forget your birthday when you turn 29! Last year in my 20's! AHHH! Happy Fall Y'all!

Drumroll Please...

We had our 20 Week Ultrasound on Monday morning, and it's a...BOY! We are so excited for Tay to have a little brother. A lot of us were expecting and even hoping for a little girl, but a boy is equally exciting! This little guy will be the 5th grandchild and grandson. No girls yet, but maybe in the future! We got a lot of fun ultrasound pictures but here are a few of my favorites...

Profile
 Cute little feet
This one is my favorite! You probably all think I'm so weird, but in the spirit of Halloween, look how creepy this photo is! Ultrasounds show amazing things! The white is bone, which if you look you can see the spinal cord. It's a crazy awesome picture. Way to go kiddo! You must love Halloween like your momma! You rocked out this picture! Ha ha

 17 Weeks
20 Weeks

I probably should have done a closer shot on my 20 week photo but look at the difference between 3 weeks! Well I can see a difference I don't know about you!

I can't believe we're halfway there! So excited to have this little peanut. I'm feeling pretty good and everything has gone really well as far as the baby being healthy. I'm not sick anymore so as long as that continues I can't complain!! Well unless I'm 35 weeks ha ha. I remember how that was with Tayen. Luckily by that time, I won't have too much going on. Excited for the fun things to come!

Oh and I can't forget...In 3 days, I get to head to Utah for a girls shopping weekend! I can't wait! Perfect timing because I haven't gone shopping in FOREVER! See you gals soon!

The Fun Starts Here

Summer is over and Fall is just beginning! I absolutely love everything about Fall, especially because things start really getting busy. But honestly, that's how I like it! Here's what's been going on and what's to come...

Monday, we find out what we are having and we're so excited!! Is it a boy or a girl? I don't know, you tell us! I will be 20 weeks pregnant this Sunday and half way there! I'm not feeling sick anymore, but I do still feel VERY hot and I hate it. I need the weather to cool off even more. I already have a little swelling, but that comes from chasing Tayen everywhere. Like I've said before, this pregnancy is much different than the last. Taking it a day at a time is all I can really do at this point. But we are over the moon about it! Can't wait!

Last Thursday, I started up with choir again. The Idaho Falls Choralaires is an all women's choir that I've been singing with for a couple years now and I really love it. I NEED the choir aspect in my life especially now that I'm not in school anymore. It's such a nice break for me and I look forward to singing my heart out every week. I'm so grateful I have choir opportunities here in town and it's only a bonus that I have a little adult interaction for a change! It's always a little weird singing Christmas music this early though, but that's what happens when you're in preparation for a Christmas concert! So grateful for the music in my life!

Next week we will be heading to Ogden for a girls weekend! I'm so excited to have some girl time with no kids! I will miss Tayen terribly though. Sometimes I get mixed feelings leaving him for a couple days and then I think, uh no I think I'd like to shop by myself ha ha. Super excited!

I've been primary chorister for about 7 months now and I'm starting to love it! It can be really difficult at times with Tayen because with Che gone, I don't know how he'll be in nursery so I worry about that. It was a little overwhelming at first with this calling, but everything seems to be in order now. This calling is a lot of work, but it's a great experience and super fun. I love those kids. We're just starting preparation for our primary program so things are really getting busy!

Tayen will be 18 months in 5 days! He just started nursery last week and it was a little rough, but I know it will get better in time. I took a couple pictures of him from the last two Sundays. This first picture is of him in the new shirt I bought him. He looks so handsome!

 First day of nursery!

Cousin Boston turned two at the end of August and we had a cowboy party! It was so fun and Tayen had a blast! Here's some pictures from that fun day...

 The Birthday Boy

Tayen has a pretty goofy uncle!
Tay loved the rocking horse that was there...until the horse made sounds ha ha.
 Getting ready to open presents!

Boston had to show everyone, every present that he got ha ha. He's such a cute kid.
Dad wearing Tay's cowboy hat. I think it's a little small.
Great Grandma Murri and Grandma O'Connor
 Boston and Great Grandpa Murri
 Amy and Justin
 Make a wish!
Britney made the cutest and most yummy vanilla cupcakes!
Can you tell how good they are?

Tune in next week for the big news!!! Is it a boy? Or is it a girl?
